Conic Slideshow Privacy Policy
Last Updated: July 6, 2026
Conic Slideshow is developed by Creative Media Content. We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your images and information when you use our application (the "App"), available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
The App is designed to prioritize local, on-device processing, meaning your files remain under your control by default. We use standard industry tools to monitor performance and stability to ensure a smooth user experience.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising.
1. Data We Collect and How We Use It
A.User-Uploaded Content & Media Processing
By default, Conic Slideshow processes your photos and videos locally on your device. Your images and slideshows remain strictly on your device and are not uploaded to external servers, with the following exception:
- •The "Auto-Fix" Feature (AI Integration) When you explicitly request the "Auto-Fix" feature to rotate, reorder, or analyze your media, the selected image is transmitted to our AI infrastructure partner, Google, via the Firebase AI / Gemini API.
- ◦Purpose: Images are sent solely for image orientation analysis to fulfill your specific request. The legal basis for this processing is your explicit consent, given each time you activate the feature.
- ◦Data Protection: Per Google's terms, images submitted through this integration are not used to train Google's AI models, and the data is not retained by Google after the analysis is complete.
- ◦International Transfer: Depending on your location, this transmission may involve transferring your data to Google servers in the United States or other countries. Where required (e.g., under GDPR), this transfer relies on Google's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard — see Google's Firebase and Gemini API terms for details.
B.Technical and Usage Data (Analytics & Performance Monitoring)
To ensure the App runs smoothly, remains stable, and provides a high-quality experience, we utilize Google Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics) to collect operational insights, including:
- •Technical Identifiers Installation IDs, device/browser type, and session data (e.g., button clicks, feature usage).
- •Device Specifics IP address, device model, operating system version, and technical logs at the time of an app crash.
Note on identifiability: While this data is not linked to your name or a user account, identifiers like IP address and device model may be considered personal data under some privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA). We treat it accordingly and limit its use exclusively to diagnosing bugs, fixing crashes, and improving app stability. This data is retained by Google Firebase according to Firebase's standard retention periods (generally up to 14 months for Analytics identifiers); we do not independently extend this.
Opt-out: You can limit analytics and crash data collection through your device's ad-tracking / app-tracking permission settings (iOS: Settings > Privacy > Tracking; Android: Settings > Google > Ads), or by contacting us using the details in Section 7.
2. Data Retention & Storage
- •Ephemeral Processing: Conic Slideshow does not provide long-term cloud hosting or storage for your files.
- •Automatic Deletion: When cloud-based processing is used for an explicit request (e.g., Auto-Fix), your uploaded image is stored temporarily during processing and automatically deleted from active servers within 24 hours.
- •Final Exports: Exported files are made available for download for a limited time (e.g., 1 hour) before being permanently purged.
- •Backup responsibility: Because files are processed ephemerally and purged automatically, we recommend always keeping original copies of your images saved locally or in your own backup service. We are not liable for loss of files that occurs due to this automatic deletion process. (See our Terms of Service for the full liability terms.)
3. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect data during processing and transmission, including encryption in transit (TLS) for any media sent to our AI infrastructure partner, and access controls limiting who can view technical diagnostic data. Because we do not require personal user accounts, names, or email addresses to use the App, we do not store persistent personal identity data on our own servers.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
4. Children's Privacy
Conic Slideshow is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at the email below so we can take appropriate action.
5. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with the following third-party services, which handle data according to their own privacy policies:
- •Apple App Store / App Store Services see Apple's Privacy Policy https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
- •Google Play Services see Google's Privacy Policy https://policies.google.com/privacy
- •Google Firebase (Analytics & Crashlytics) see Firebase Privacy and Security https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
- •Google Gemini API (via Firebase AI) see Gemini API Additional Terms https://ai.google.dev/gemini-api/terms
We encourage you to review each provider's policy, as we do not control how they process data once it leaves our systems.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR (EEA/UK) or CCPA/CPRA (California), including the right to:
- •Access the categories of data we process about you;
- •Delete data we hold about you;
- •Correct inaccurate data;
- •Port your data to another service; and
- •Opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information (note: we do not sell or share personal information as defined by these laws).
Because Conic Slideshow processes media locally or through short-term, ephemeral cloud processing, most data is "self-clearing" within 24 hours without any action needed from you. For anything not automatically cleared — such as Firebase analytics identifiers — you can submit a request to the email below, and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (typically 30–45 days).
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, regulatory, or app store transparency reasons. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy and, where required, through an in-app notice.
